About Us
Hope Free Eye Care Centre
Hope Free Eye Care Centre is one of the very few organisations dedicated to providing critical eye care in rural Pakistan—where the need is most urgent. In these underserved communities, poverty already casts a heavy shadow over daily life, and the burden of blindness makes survival even more difficult.
A child who cannot see cannot study, cutting off any chance of a better future. When a breadwinner loses their sight, the entire family suffers—children are forced to leave school and work, and basic needs go unmet. A mother unable to care for her children due to vision loss, or an elderly person requiring constant assistance, places immense pressure on already struggling households.
Recognising these devastating realities, we—myself(Zahid Khan) and Dr. Syed Zohaib-ul-Hassan—began this initiative as a humble effort with support from close friends and family. Over the past four years, through tireless commitment and compassion, we have grown into a structured network of generous donors and volunteers. Together, we have restored vision and transformed lives.
But this is just the beginning. With your continued support, we aim to expand our reach, touch more lives, and build a future where no one is left in darkness simply because they couldn’t afford to see.
